How can I peel off recycled paper from wood?

Okay, here’s the situation. I have an Investigatory Project on waste management and we chose to recycle paper. Making the paper is okay, peeling it off is a different story.

When we make paper we do the usual thing and place the wet paper on a glass table and let it dry for a period of three days. Peeling it off can be a pain, The paper is firmly stuck to the glass and usually gets destroyed. My teacher advised that we put it on a plastic book cover and just peel it (the cover) off when the paper dries, my group mate’s parents said to use plywood to reduce the dry time by roughly a day. But I’m a wee bit concerned on how we would be able to peel it off. It kinda looks it will go the way of the papers on the glass and I’m unsure of the ones to be put on book covers. We tried to dry it on the mold and peel it off but it ends up too rough and we don’t have that much molds and we have little time.
