I hope to be able to do some community clean up, We live in a 2000 person town so it wouldn’t be too hard. If I could find a group that could support me and my friends that would be great. In my book it says the source reduction is a strategy where industries can often design and manufacture their products in ways that decrease the volume of solid waste and the amount of hazardous materials in the solid waste stream.
It also says that it is the most underutilized aspect of waste management and that it is accomplished in a variety of ways, such as substituting raw materials that introduce less waste during the manufacturing process and recycling and reusing wastes at the plants where they are generated.

I just don’t comprehend the question. I don’t think the answer is B or D but correct me if I’m wrong. Can you please give me a detailed explanation of the answer as well.

B doesn’t make since. Because the definition of source reduction states that it is all about reducing waste at the source of the product when it is made. Not after it has already been made.

I want to recycle as much as I can, including glass bottles, of different colors. I’m in Clear Lake City, TX area, but they said they consider glass a hazardous waste. I call the city of houston, they give me waste management, but it’s a never ending cycle, no one gives me a straight answer where I can recycle glass. Please help, I want to go green as much as possible. I’ve even switched to cloth diapers for my baby.
PS The websites give me disconnected numbers, store numbers, but no answers to glass.

The law enforcements will be groups of bounty hunters who are not meant to kill their prey, but to hunt and capture, even if that means cutting their arms and legs off if they try to resist. Lie detectors will be present at all courts and a drug will be developed to counter those who have to ability to fool the lie detector. If you are going to court for speeding or something car related you can drive there if you have to and will be permitted a sort of special 2 day license for the trip, although, you must apply for it. This government will be neutral any only have trade with other counties and nothing else! The rights of free speech will be kept.

And there will be a limit to how many children each person can have before they are caught into a lottery for getting tubes tied or a vasectomy. The payment for jobs will be to have a home to live and citizenship. A type of bonus credit will come to those who find a way to start a business. This will go into circulation and slowly change things a bit. The bonus credits can buy things that are desired rather than needed. Also this type of credit can be gotten other ways as well such as winning it as a prize or getting it in a trade. There will be three types of ways to get things, by limiting cards, bonus credits and trade. This was so long that they chose to cut my writing short. People’s desire for a good conflict can be met through special events and the job choice as a bounty hunter. Murder is for losers, torture is for kings!
You don’t seem to understand my views on population control. Yes I know what kills, and something must kill to keep the population down to a minimum. Sure, pot kills, but just imagine, a possible murderer on pot, too mellow to kill. If someone or something is to kill, I’d prefer it to not be man directly to do the job. As I said, I was cut off. As for lie detecting, there is always a chemical composition to be discovered and I do believe that there is one that can better a lie detector test, it’s just not yet been discovered. As for the things relating to more crime, I have that handled. In order to appreciate the good in life, you need some bad in life to look at and compare. Without appreciation for what is good in life, you can not find happiness. As for the market, there would be stores from another country as well as family owned and government ones. As for having the land to make a government for, that is still in the early stages of how and where. If you have unmanned land, people will come.
Even if many of the rules are considerably unfair to some standards, there are still countries who have it worse and people would come right over in a heart beat. As for extra funds, and extra prisoners, let the other countries send the overflow of their prisoners.

I think it is quite odd that trash haulers like BFI and Waste Management ask their customers to recycle and charge them for this recycling, especially when they in turn make money on those items. They should actually be giving money to customers for their recycling which in turn would be used as incentive. Does anyone agree?
There are limited independent recyclers based on these large trash haulers, hard to compete with them.
I worked for a city organization whose job was to pick up used tires and take them to BFI, they would charge $50 a truck load and in turn chop up those tires and sell it for fuel for a paper plant. The greed here is what I am questioning. It is like an oil company charging you to give it your fuel.
