JOEY!!!!! 【ツ】 asked: I’m writing a paper and this paragraph seems too short. What can I add to it?
Enforcing everyone to recycle would not only help our planet to be cleaner and last longer, it would also establish immediate relief to our economy. Recycling would stimulate our economy by creating over one million jobs and over thirty seven billion dollars in payrolls annually. It would create five jobs for every one job created in waste management. This is a great solution to our economy crisis.

Sandy Cheeks! asked: I want to recycle as much as I can, including glass bottles, of different colors. I’m in Clear Lake City, TX area, but they said they consider glass a hazardous waste. I call the city of houston, they give me waste management, but it’s a never ending cycle, no one gives me a straight answer where I can recycle glass. Please help, I want to go green as much as possible. I’ve even switched to cloth diapers for my baby.

PS The websites give me disconnected numbers, store numbers, but no answers to glass.

Unsure asked: Over the years, I have collected a large amount of CD/DVD cases and want to get rid of them in a way that is friendly to the environment. Can I just recycle them through my county’s waste management recycling program or do I have to sent them to a specific location/company?

JOEY!!!!! 【ツ】 asked: I’m writing an essay on the benefits of mandatory recycling. In this specific paragraph I’m explaining how mandatory recycling helps the economy by creating more jobs. What else can I add to this paragraph?
Enforcing everyone to recycle would stimulate our economy by creating over one million jobs and over thirty seven billion dollars in payrolls annually. It would create four jobs for every one job created in waste management.

tribekat asked: I recycle because I want to do anything I can to reduce waste that winds up in a landfill. I have been under the impression all these years that recycling is beneficial for the environment. But I recently learned that, at least in California, we ship our compacted recyclables to China to be made into new products which are then shipped back to the USA. I’m curious about the “life cycle” of a recycled product and the recycling industry’s impact on the environment. Also, are China’s recycling methods and chemicals ok under USA or EU regulations? Economists encouraged to weigh in. Thanks.

SayWhat? asked: Companies that make use of the products seem limitless amounts of packaging. Does gum really need 3 layers of packaging? If all these water bottles are clogging our oceans, why are not manufacturers of beverages to keep glass bottles or aluminum? Why do not I care about recycling, I think there will be much less need for recycling if firms are regulated by the amount of waste created. We also do not like what recycling is voluntary. Why are not consumers and manufacturers alike are required by law to reduce and recycle waste?
